MOSCOW, December 23. In the super final of the Miss Earth contest, held in Vietnam, Ukrainian participant Anastasia Feier was deprived of screen time and forced to dance on the same stage with Russian Daria Lukonkina, according to the Ukrainian publication Obozrevatel.
“The show did not work out from the very beginning, when, due to unknown problems, the Ukrainian was not even shown to the audience <…>. All the contestants in groups of five girls came to the microphones and called their names and countries. When the five with the Ukrainian appeared on stage, the broadcast was interrupted and resumed with other participants,” the publication says.
Already at the next stage of the competition, when the participants performed in swimsuits, the Ukrainian Feyer “found herself close” to the Russian woman and, as the publication writes, “was forced share the stage with her.»
The authors of the publication complained that the Russian Lukonkina was included in the list of the eight most beautiful girls on the planet, while the Ukrainian did not even make it into the top twenty. According to them, the participant from Russia “for unknown reasons was pushed” first into the top 20, and then into the top 8.
“»To sum it up, the Ukrainian had very little screen time, while the participant from Russia was shown where more active,” the authors bitterly assert.
The winner of the international beauty contest “Miss Earth” was the representative of Albania, Drita Ziri.
