MOSCOW, December 22 Investigative authorities have organized an investigation into the fact that ice fell from a roof onto a man in Bryansk, the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Region reported.
On Monday, a 68-year-old man was hospitalized with a traumatic brain injury and a head wound after a fall of ice from the roof of an apartment building on Lenin Avenue in Bryansk. An inspection by the prosecutor's office found that the management company did not ensure that the roof of the house was completely cleared of ice in a timely manner; an administrative case was initiated and a report was made to the director of the organization.
“»In response to the fall of ice from the roof of apartment building No. 6 on Lenin Avenue in the Sovetsky district of the city of Bryansk, the investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Bryansk Region organized a procedural check,» the message says.
It is noted that investigators are clarifying the circumstances of the incident; based on the results of the inspection, a legal assessment of what happened and the actions of officials will be given.
