Zakharova: the Russian Federation will not participate in financing the group in the OPCW created by the United States
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that the Russian Federation does not intend to participate in the financing of the US-created group to investigate and identify Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and will withhold an appropriate portion of its contribution to the OPCW.
The US-created group “conducts illegal activities in the interests of the collective West,” Zakharova said.
Russia will leave the OPCW council in May 2024, but will remain an observer with the committee, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
