The Tour de Ski competition will be held from December 30 to January 7, 2024 in Italy and Switzerland. The men's and women's pursuit races in Toblach are scheduled for January 1.
“Due to the lack of natural snow on the originally planned stage from Toblach to Lake Landro, the competition will take place on the World Cup circuit. The pursuit race distance will be 20 kilometers, as approved in the calendar as option B,” the message says.
Toblach will also host freestyle sprint races (December 30) and classic 10 km races (December 31).
In October, the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) extended the suspension of Russian and Belarusian athletes until further notice.
