““We already have plans for the volume of production and export of mineral fertilizers in 2024 — this is about 60 million tons and 35 million tons, respectively,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
According to him, in 2023 production will increase by 8% in annual terms, to 58.5 million tons, total exports could increase by 5%, to 33.6 million tons. Thus, in 2024 growth could be 2.6% and 4.2%, respectively.
At the same time, this year, according to Manturov, significant work has been done to create new opportunities for transshipment of mineral fertilizers in ports. There has been a reorientation from the Baltic ports to the ports of the Russian Federation, which is important for the development of the industry and the economic security of the country as a whole, he specified.
