MOSCOW, December 23 Chairman of the Russian National Union» (ROS) Sergei Baburin reported that at the party congress on Saturday it was decided to nominate him as a candidate for the presidency of the Russian Federation.
«I proposed the candidacy of Anar Ramazanov. After that, the congress insisted on the inclusion of two more candidates: me — Sergei Baburin, as well as Ivan Volkov from Yekaterinburg. They prohibited self-recusal. Baburin's candidacy passed in a secret ballot, with Anar Ramazanov in second place. The decision was made,” said Sergei Baburin.
The Russian presidential elections will be held on March 17, 2024.
