The Klyuchavto holding announced the start of sales of models from the Chinese brands SWM and Fengon: at the moment, showrooms are open in Caucasian Mineralnye Vody and Krasnodar. The first brand has already officially entered our market, we will return to it later. But Fengon is new to Russia: this brand belongs to DFSK, that is, a joint venture between Dongfeng and Seres.
It is reported that the Russian Fengon line includes crossovers ix5 and ix7 (depending on the market, they may be presented under different brands and names), Klyuchavto plans to begin selling them before the end of the year. Let us note that the Russian company Motorinvest is going to bring the same crossovers in 2024, but this company has not yet shared details about the models.

Fengon ix5 is a coupe-shaped SUV, which is slightly larger than the Renault Arkana that left the Russian Federation: the length of the Chinese SUV is 4685 mm, width – 1865 mm, height – 1645 mm, wheelbase – 2790 mm. Russian customers will be offered the cross-coupe with a 1.5 petrol turbo engine with a power of 150 hp, but they have not yet talked about the gearbox (in other countries, the model is available with a manual or CVT). Fengon ix5 only comes with front-wheel drive.

This crossover may have a six- or seven-seater interior, but which versions were brought to the Russian Federation is still unknown. Under the hood of the ix7 is a 2.0 petrol turbo engine with a power of 231 hp, the crossover has all-wheel drive.
