MOSCOW, December 28 The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation registered authorized representatives representatives of the LDPR and New People parties, who nominated Leonid Slutsky and Vladislav Davankov as candidates for the position of president, respectively, follows from the resolution of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.
According to the resolution, Eleonora Kavshar, Natalya Koroleva, Dmitry Novikov and Dmitry Shatunov were appointed as authorized representatives of the LDPR party. Also, the CEC registered Elena Strokova and Boris Chernyshov as authorized representatives of Slutsky on financial issues.
The Central Election Commission also registered two authorized representatives of the political party “New People” — Ayrat Kasymovich Akhmetzyanov, Oleg Borisovich Osipov. Anna Novikova was registered as the authorized representative for financial matters of the candidate.
In addition, candidates were allowed to open a special election account for the formation of an election fund.
Presidential elections are scheduled for March 17, 2024.
