WARSAW, December 29 Polish President Andrzej Duda called an urgent meeting with military leadership after a violation of airspace from Ukraine, the Presidential Office reports on its website.
Earlier, the operational command of the Polish Armed Forces reported that on Friday morning an unidentified air object entered Polish airspace from Ukraine, it was accompanied by air defense, then disappeared from the radar.
«President Andrzej Duda spoke on the phone with the Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz. Today at the National Security Bureau at 13.00 (15.00 Moscow time) there will be an urgent meeting with Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz, Chief of the General Staff Wieslaw Kukula, operational Commander of the Armed Forces Maciej Klisz,” the message says.
In turn, the Polish Government Information Center reports that currently, in connection with the violation of Polish airspace, a meeting is being held between Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the Chief of the General Staff, Minister of National Defense, heads of the Homeland Security Agency, the Military Intelligence Service, the Military Counterintelligence Service.
