MOSCOW, December 29 The government has approved a program for the restoration and socio-economic development of new regions, the Telegram channel of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
““Restoration of housing, public utility and transport infrastructure, development of the social sphere, creation of a favorable investment climate and achievement by new regions of average Russian indicators of quality of life by 2030 — these are the main goals of the state program,” the message says.
Budget subsidies will be used for the following purposes:
- creation of road and utility infrastructure for the development of housing construction;
- completion of construction of multi-apartment residential buildings, the developers or owners of which have not been identified;
- formation of a modern urban environment;
- construction, reconstruction or major repairs of drinking water supply facilities;
- rehabilitation of electrical networks;
- restoration of maritime infrastructure;
- repair of roads of regional, intermunicipal and local importance.
The government noted that a significant tool for supporting investors will be the development of a free economic zone in new regions.
As Vladimir Putin announced in mid-December, summing up the results of the year, the federal budget annually provides more than a trillion rubles for the development of Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
