MOSCOW, December 27The Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF) will be held from April 19 to 26, 2024, the press service of the film festival reported.

The main venue of the film festival will be the Oktyabr cinema center. The organizers recalled that every year, as part of the festival, more than 200 films are shown in ten Moscow cinemas. The festival's prizes are the statuettes «Golden St. George», «Silver St. George», a special prize «For contribution to world cinema» and «I Believe. Konstantin Stanislavsky».
About the date of accepting applications for participation in competitions and non-competitive programs of the 46th MIFF will be announced later.
MIFF is one of the oldest festivals in the world, it was first held in 1935, the chairman of the jury was director Sergei Eisenstein. Since 1959, the festival began to be held regularly.
