NALCHIK, December 29 Head of Kabardino-Balkaria Kazbek Kokov on Friday signed in support of Vladimir Putin’s candidacy for the Russian presidential election.
“I signed in support of the candidacy of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin in the elections of the President of the Russian Federation in the upcoming 2024. Like the absolute majority of the residents of our republic, I fully support the decision of our president,” Kokov wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the country now, more than ever, needs stability and confident development. “The president’s wisdom, his well-considered decisions, political will, ability to unite a team of professionals — all this allows Russia not only to confront today’s challenges, but also to move forward,” the head of the CBD emphasized.
On December 18, Putin submitted documents to the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation to nominate his candidacy for the post of president through self-nomination.

Russian presidential elections are scheduled for March 17, 2024. Nomination of candidates from parties takes place from December 7 to January 1, self-nomination — until December 27.
