A nine-year-old child died during shelling of the Bryansk region, Governor Alexander Bogomaz wrote in a telegram.
According to him, the villages of Kister and Borshchovo in the border Pogarsky district came under fire.
The night and day earlier, Bogomaz reported attempts to attack populated areas in the region.
