Journalist Pavel Lobkov reported that he was beaten in the Patriarch's Ponds area in the center of Moscow.
Lobkov did not provide any other details, however, he indirectly mentioned that the attackers used the homophobic word “fag”: TV presenter Lobkov is openly gay.
56-year-old Pavel Lobkov has worked as a correspondent for NTV since the mid-1990s, and in 2012 became a presenter on the channel «Rain», where he worked until 2021. An interview with him was released by Yuri Dud — the video on YouTube was watched by almost eight million people.
