
MOSCOW, December 30 In Russia, a temporary ban on the export of rice and rice cereals has been extended, the government reported on its website.
“»In Russia, a temporary ban is being extended a ban on the export of rice and rice cereals. A decree on this has been signed. The restriction will be in effect until June 30, 2024,» the Cabinet of Ministers said.
The decision was made to maintain stability in the domestic market.
The ban will not affect member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Rice and rice cereals can be sent abroad and for humanitarian aid, as well as during international transit transportation.
In addition , the government adopted another resolution on the introduction of tariff quotas for duty-free export from the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of grain crops, sunflower oil and sunflower meal; they will be valid until December 31, 2024.
Cabinet of Ministers 29 July banned the export of rice and rice cereals until December 31, 2023.
