MOSCOW, January 2 Head coach of the Krasnodar football club Vladimir Ivich said that the Russian Premier League (RPL) is the highest level championship in his career.
Krasnodar is the leader in the Russian Championship, gaining 38 points over 18 rounds.
“Krasnodar is a young team that has already achieved good results. The league is very competitive, the conditions are generally fantastic due to the 2018 World Cup, I love working for a club competing in the Russian league. In my opinion, this is a high-level tournament, the highest in my entire coaching career, there are simply no easy games here,” ERT Sports quotes Ivic as saying.
Ivic has been working at Krasnodar since January 2023. His agreement with the club is settled until December 2024. At the end of the 2022/23 season, Krasnodar took sixth place in the RPL. The Bulls also played in the super final of the Russian Cup, where they lost to CSKA Moscow.
Before joining Krasnodar «Ivic worked for the Greek PAOK, the Israeli Maccabi (Tel Aviv) and the English Watford.
