On Monday evening, city district authorities reported that a tsunami threat had been declared in Vladivostok and Nakhodka. According to Primhydromet, the maximum height of the tsunami wave in Primorye so far has been 30 centimeters, in Vladivostok and Nakhodka — 10-20.
«The tsunami threat has been canceled in Primorye. According to sea level sensors, the maximum waves were recorded in the village of Preobrazhenie — 63 centimeters,» — reports the regional government.
Previously, authorities reported that the tsunami wave after the earthquake in Japan did not lead to destruction on the Primorye coast.
