MOSCOW, January 1 Documents of the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation Nikolai Kharitonov will be submitted to the Central Election Commission for registration on January 3, State Duma deputy, first deputy chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Yuri Afonin told reporters.
«All documents of Nikolai Mikhailovich Kharitonov are ready for registration and will be submitted on January 3,» he said.
Russian presidential elections are scheduled for March 17, 2024. The acceptance of documents for self-nominated candidates ended on December 27; candidates from political parties can be nominated until January 1. From the Duma parties, Nikolai Kharitonov from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Leonid Slutsky from the Liberal Democratic Party and Vladislav Davankov from New People have already been nominated by congresses and submitted documents for nomination to the Central Election Commission.
