The number of victims of the Russian shelling of Kharkov has grown to 52 people, the regional prosecutor's office reports. Six of them are children.
In Kyiv, the number of wounded increased to 43, 37 of whom were hospitalized, and six were treated on the spot, writes the mayor of the Ukrainian capital Vitaliy Klitschko.
The Russian Ministry of Defense called the shelling of Kyiv and Kharkov “a strike with long-range precision weapons.” The military claims that they were targeting enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex in Kyiv and its suburbs.
