MOSCOW, January 3 Candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation for In the presidential elections of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Kharitonov submitted documents for registration with the Central Election Commission, the correspondent reports.
Russian presidential elections are scheduled for March 17, 2024. The acceptance of documents for self-nominated candidates ended on December 27; candidates from political parties can be nominated until January 1. From the Duma parties, Nikolai Kharitonov from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Leonid Slutsky from the Liberal Democratic Party and Vladislav Davankov from the New People party have already been nominated by congresses and submitted documents for nomination to the Central Election Commission.
