DONETSK, January 4 The school building was damaged as a result of shelling Kiev district of Donetsk from the Ukrainian troops, said the mayor of the administrative center of the DPR, Alexey Kulemzin, in his Telegram channel.
““During the shelling of the Kievsky district in the building of school No. 102, a classroom, a corridor, and glazing were damaged,” wrote Kulemzin.
The DPR representative office in the JCCC reported earlier on Thursday about two shellings of the Kievsky district of Donetsk by Ukrainian troops , who used NATO 155 mm caliber shells.
Kyiv district is located in the northern part of Donetsk. Since 2014, when the DPR declared independence from Kyiv after a coup d'etat there, the area has regularly come under fire from Ukrainian security forces. The northern outskirts of the region is considered to be an airport, completely destroyed as a result of months of fighting between the Ukrainian military besieged there and the Donetsk militias who stormed their positions.
