MOSCOW, January 4Microsoft is making changes to the keyboard of its personal computers based on the Windows 11 operating system, adding the “artificial intelligence key” Copilot, Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president and chief marketing officer, wrote in a company blog.
«Today we're excited to take the next significant step forward and introduce the Copilot key to Windows 11 PCs,» it said in a statement.
Microsoft 365 Copilot is a Windows tool that allows you to implement artificial intelligence functions in the work of graphics programs such as Word and Excel.
Mehdi also noted that the appearance of the Copilot key will be the first significant change in the keyboard of computers running the Windows operating system in 30 years. The Copilot key will be located next to the Windows key.
«Over the past year, we have been at the forefront of these changes, innovating and improving our products with Copilot… We We believe that this (the appearance of the key — ed.) will allow people to more easily participate in the transformation of artificial intelligence,» Mehdi added.
The American company Microsoft was founded in 1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen. Headquarters are located in Redmond, Washington. The company specializes in software development, in particular, Microsoft is the developer of the Windows operating system.
