MOSCOW, January 5 Brazilian defender Nino transferred from the Brazilian » Fluminense» to the Russian «Zenith», according to the website of the St. Petersburg football club.
The agreement with the 26-year-old player runs until the summer of 2028. According to journalist Fabio Aleixo, the transfer amount was 6 million euros.
Nino is an Olympic champion at the Tokyo Games. At Fluminense, with whom he won the Copa Libertadores in 2023, the player wore the captain's armband. The defender played one match for the Brazilian national team — a World Cup qualifying match against the Argentina national team (0:1).
