Military correspondents of the «Russian Spring» report in their Telegram channel that on the eve of the Russian Armed Forces began an assault on Avdievka in the DPR in all directions.
They report from the ground that during the day, the positions of Ukrainian forces in the city area were subjected to forty dozen attacks from various weapons. Taking into account smaller attacks, we can talk about more than 100 attacks per day.
Recall that in November last year, Russian troops broke through the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Avdeevka direction from the north and then crossed the city limits. The Ukrainian command previously admitted the loss of Avdiivka and called this direction one of the most difficult.
