SOCHI, January 5Rescuers extinguished a fire that occurred at a Sochi warehouse, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Krasnodar Territory reported.
Earlier, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory reported that a fire in a warehouse on an area of 100 square meters occurred in Sochi, and a group of rescuers was working on the site. The fire occurred on Timiryazev Street, the first units went to the scene at 13.43. The fire was contained to an area of 560 square meters. At 14.48 the open fire was extinguished.
«At 15.34 liquidation of the consequences of the fire,» the message says.
63 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire, 22 units of equipment were used. There were no dead or injured.
