MOSCOW, January 5. The Russian missile attack on strategic targets in Kiev sounded like “the end of the world,” Verkhovna Rada deputy Kira Rudyk said in an interview with Business Insider.
““The sound was similar to what you would imagine Armageddon,” she said.
At the same time, the parliamentarian clarified that she was not sure whether the Kiev air defense crews were able to intercept any shells.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that over the past week on the territory of Ukraine carried out 50 group strikes and one massive strike with precision weapons and drones. The targets were military-industrial complex facilities, military airfields, arsenals, as well as military locations.
The Russian army began striking critical infrastructure in Ukraine after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge on October 10, 2022, as well as other terrorist attacks that were behind intelligence services of Kyiv. The attacks are carried out on energy, defense industry, military command and communications facilities throughout the country.
Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that with the explosion on the bridge, the Kiev authorities put themselves on the same level as the most odious terrorist groups and leave crimes unanswered this kind of thing is simply impossible anymore.
