MOSCOW, January 5 Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to submit proposals for the creation of a digital platform for translations of works of Russian classics of the 19th – 20th centuries by May 15, the corresponding order has been published on the Kremlin website.
«The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia will prepare together with the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and with the participation of the federal state budgetary institution of science the Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkin House) of the Russian Academy of Sciences and submit proposals for the creation of an open digital platform for placement of translations into foreign languages of works of Russian classical literature of the 19th – 20th centuries,” the order says.
The report must be submitted by May 15, 2024. Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev, Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov were appointed responsible.
