RAO filed a lawsuit against the Mutabor club, where the “naked party” took place

MOSCOW, January 7 The Russian Authors Society (RAO) asks the Moscow Arbitration Court to recover 537 thousand rubles from the Mutabor nightclub (legal entity Art Center LLC «), where the scandalous «naked party» took place, follows from the information in the file of arbitration cases.
RAO's claim was submitted to the court on December 28, but has not yet been accepted for consideration. The grounds for the claims have not yet been indicated in the court materials.

RAO manages the rights of authors on a collective basis in cases where their practical implementation on an individual basis is difficult, including during public performance of works. As a rule, RAO sues concert organizers over non-contractual performance of musical works or due to violation of relevant contracts.

In December, a party was held at the Moscow club «Mutabor», where many Russian pop stars, following the dress code, came half naked. It was organized by blogger Anastasia Ivleeva. The event caused a negative resonance in society, Ivleeva and several other participants had to make excuses.

The Khamovnichesky Court of Moscow registered a class action lawsuit against the blogger for a billion rubles in compensation for moral damage, and the rapper Vacío, who came to the club almost completely naked , was arrested for 15 days. He was also fined 200 thousand rubles for LGBT propaganda*.
In addition, on December 29, the court fined Ivleeva 100 thousand rubles, finding her guilty of organizing a mass simultaneous presence of citizens in public places, resulting in a violation of public order.
* The movement is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia.
