MOSCOW, January 6 The Roscosmos enterprise and the EdAn Engineering company have created a joint venture for the production of gas stations; it will become the operator of the state corporation for the distribution of petroleum products, the press service told reporters «Roscosmos».
“The Ust-Katav Carriage Works (part of the Roscosmos state corporation) and the EdAn Engineering company have created a joint venture, RK Technologies, combining the technological potentials of UKVZ and EdAn Engineering in the oil and gas and high-tech sectors,” the statement says.
It is noted that the new company will primarily engage in the production of container gas stations (filling stations), fuel dispensers and pumping equipment, as well as its reengineering. As a result of research and development work, equipment was obtained whose characteristics are superior to foreign analogues, Roscosmos emphasized.
In addition, the joint venture will become a single operator for the supply of equipment for accounting and dispensing of petroleum products, as well as automation of vehicle refueling for Roscosmos. The state corporation thus intends to save on fuels and lubricants.
“The company also offers solutions for filling systems for fuel tankers, fuel receiving and supply of gas filling stations both to Roscosmos facilities and to infrastructure facilities. Promotion of product supplies will be focused not only on the Russian market in the interests of a number of domestic customers, but also on friendly markets countries,» the press service added.
It is emphasized that the products are planned to be supplied to new regions of the Russian Federation.
EdAn Engineering company equipment is used at 70% of gas stations in Russia and the CIS. It is also used at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, at Russia's largest airports and at leading oil and gas companies.
UKVZ has been producing a wide range of pumping equipment for many years and has been cooperating with leading companies in the oil and gas industry of the Russian Federation and the EAEU countries.
