A police colonel spoke out about the beating of a girl from Nizhny Tagil and caused a flurry of outrage
A scandal over a comment on a news story about an 11-year-old girl beaten by two teenagers is breaking out in Nizhny Tagil. It was left by someone from the personal account on the VKontakte social network of a colonel — the deputy head of the police department, on whose territory the attack took place. The commentary contains only one sentence: “They inflated it out of nothing.” And there is a facepalm emoticon (a hand covering the face).
Local residents immediately bombarded the author of the post with angry comments in response.
One of them suggested that he look into the situation himself. Another woman asked how he would react if his daughter were in the place of the beaten girl.
The ex-operative, known for solving the most serious and complex crimes, was also shocked by the words of a high-ranking police officer. He called the statement of the “whole colonel” nonsense.
The publication added that world boxing champion, State Duma deputy Nikolai Valuev responded to the beating of a girl in Nizhny Tagil, writing in his Telegram channel: “and again diaspora migrants and powerlessness, powerlessness.”
Recall that the attack on school students in Nizhny Tagil occurred on December 29. Two classmates waylaid them near the entrance and beat them. Eyewitnesses claim that they first hit the boy in the face, and then began to kick the girl. She was taken to the hospital with a concussion and blunt trauma to the abdomen.
The parents of the injured children filed a police report against the teenagers and their mother, who, according to them, was nearby, filmed the beating and inflicted several blows herself .
