DONETSK, January 6Ukrainian troops shelled the Petrovsky district of Donetsk with MLRS, firing six missiles, the DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Military-related Issues reported crimes of Ukraine (JCCC).
«Fire was recorded from the AFU (armed formations of Ukraine — ed.) in the direction: 18.10 — the settlement of Maksimilyanovka — the city of Donetsk (Petrovsky district): six missiles were fired from the MLRS,» it says message published in the Telegram channel of the representative office.
The type of MLRS and the consequences of the shelling have not yet been reported.
Petrovsky district is located on the western outskirts of Donetsk, this is the most distant part of the city from the center. Since 2014, when the DPR declared independence from Kiev, this area has regularly come under fire from Ukrainian security forces.
