The entry of heavy vehicles into Rostov-on-Don was forced to be limited due to bad weather
The authorities of Rostov-on-Don have introduced restrictions on the entry of large trucks into the million-plus city due to bad weather conditions. The restriction is valid until noon on January 9.
Restrictions on the entry of heavy trucks into the city are introduced from 22:00 on January 8 to 12:00 on January 9 (Moscow time). The forced measure, according to the city authorities, will relieve congestion on the roads and avoid traffic jams. In this case, municipal equipment will be able to quickly clear roadways.
In the next 24 hours, a sharp drop in temperature and snowfall are expected in Rostov-on-Don.
Motorists were urged to refrain from traveling in personal vehicles.
