PYATIGORSK, January 7 Two people were killed and three were seriously injured as a result of a collision of three cars in the Andropovsky district of the Stavropol Territory, the regional state traffic inspectorate reports on the department’s Telegram channel .
According to the department, the accident occurred on Sunday at about 19.00 Moscow time on the 303rd kilometer of the Caucasus highway.
“»The driver of a Daewoo Nexia car, for reasons not yet established, lost control, hit a cable fence, drove over the fence, drove into the oncoming lane, where a head-on collision occurred with a VAZ-2114 car, and then a tangential collision with a GAZelle Sobol car. The driver of the Daewoo and the passenger of the «fourteenth» died from their injuries. The driver and two passengers of the VAZ-2114 (boys 10 and 12 years old) with severe injuries were taken to the intensive care unit of Nevinnomyssk,» the department said in a statement.
It is noted that the foreign car was driven by a 27-year-old resident of a neighboring republic, who “over the past two years has been brought to justice 10 times for violating traffic rules, mainly for speed.”
