MOSCOW, January 8 Currency trading on holidays occurs without sudden movements, but after January 9 everything may change, BitRiver financial analyst Vladislav Antonov told the Prime agency.
He recalled that at the beginning of this year the seizure of assets held in the accounts of foreign investors from unfriendly countries was prohibited. We are talking about funds invested in Russian securities. The news will be positive for the market, the analyst is sure.
In addition, with the start of the working week, exporters will again sell foreign currency earnings, and the Bank of Russia will begin selling foreign currency as part of its operations. As soon as investors and traders fully return to the market, the ruble may strengthen to 88.90 rubles per dollar, Antonov concluded.
