MOSCOW, January 10. Ukrainian military commissars have allegedly begun issuing summonses in Warsaw, writes Strana.ua.
The publication published footage, apparently filmed in Poland, which shows a man in military uniform issuing a summons to another person and calling him to return to his homeland as soon as possible.
«TCC is already in Warsaw!» — the girl filming the video says indignantly.
Nearby stands a car with black license plates, which are used by the Ukrainian military.
The publication notes that there is no official information that subpoenas have begun to be distributed abroad.
At the end In December, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that he had been approached by the General Staff with a request to mobilize an additional half a million people. The corresponding bill was promptly submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. It, in particular, provides for the abolition of compulsory service and deferment for disabled people of the third group. Those liable for military service are expected to be required to arrive at the military registration and enlistment office within 60 days from the date of announcement of mobilization, regardless of receipt of a summons, and the lower age limit for mobilization is to be reduced from 27 to 25 years.
Martial law has been in force in Ukraine since February 24, 2022 , the next day Zelensky announced a general mobilization. Men aged 18 to 60 are prohibited from leaving the country. Subpoenas can be served in a variety of places: on the streets, gas stations or in cafes. At the same time, security forces and the military practice raids on conscripts, often using violence.
For evasion of military service during mobilization, Ukrainian legislation provides for criminal liability of up to five years in prison.
