The mother of a baby who died from being “tossed” in Tatarstan named the real cause of death
A four-month-old baby who died in Tatarstan died not while playing “toss,” but because the mother shook the child violently. SHOT writes about this.
The 26-year-old woman admitted during interrogation that the baby cried a lot. She could not calm him down and began to shake him. The baby stopped breathing, and arriving doctors pronounced him dead.
Forensic examination confirmed that the boy died from hemorrhage of the spinal cord of the cervical spine. The mother and her partner were detained, and a criminal case was opened for intentionally causing grievous bodily harm resulting in death. The woman faces up to 15 years in prison.
