MOSCOW, January 10 More than 116 million rows of user data with a total volume of 5 terabytes have leaked into the Russian Federation online since the beginning of 2024, this is 10% more than in the same period last year year, said Alexander Vurasko, head of the Solar AURA external digital threat monitoring service at Solar Group.
“»Since the beginning of 2024 (from January 1 to January 9), 116.5 million rows of user data with a total volume of 5 TB have leaked into the network. This is 10% more than in the same period last year,» Vurasko said.
He noted that a slight lull was observed only on January 1. On other days, specialists recorded cyber incidents.
According to the expert, 324 thousand e-mail addresses and 274.9 thousand telephone numbers were made publicly available.
«In terms of the number of published data at the beginning of the year, the financial sector took first place (115.2 million lines). The telecom, retail, public sector, services and IT industries also suffered from leaks,» added Vurasko.< br />
