MOSCOW, January 9 The ruble is strengthening and, in particular, the yuan exchange rate dropped below 12.5 rubles — for the first time in the beginning of the year, but then returned a little higher, follows from data from the Moscow Exchange.
The yuan exchange rate for “tomorrow” calculations at 14.31 Moscow time is reduced by 19 kopecks, to 12.52 rubles.
At the same time, minutes earlier the indicator dropped to 12.496 rubles — the minimum since December 29.
The dollar exchange rate, meanwhile, falls by 1.22 rubles, to 89.93 rubles, the euro — by 1.63 rubles, to 98.38 rubles.
