PYATIGORSK, January 9 Head of the resort city of Essentuki Alexander Nekristov resigned of his own free will, the post of acting head of the city will be replaced temporarily by First Deputy Head Vladimir Krutnikov, the press service of the city administration reports.
«The head of the city of Essentuki, Alexander Yuryevich Nekristov, made a decision on the early termination of the powers of the head of the city in connection with his resignation at his own request. … The temporary execution of the powers of the head of the city of Essentuki was entrusted to the acting first deputy head of the city of Essentuki, Vladimir Vladimirovich Krutnikov,» — the message says.
According to the administration, the decision to early terminate Nekristov's powers as head of the city of Essentuki was made on Tuesday at an extraordinary meeting of the City Duma.
Based on the data on the United Russia website, Nekristov’s political career began in 2011 as head of the economic development committee of the Stavropol city administration, and from 2012 to 2015 he served as first deputy head of the city administration . After serving as first deputy head of Essentuki for several months in 2015, Nekristov received the post of head of the resort city.
