Social fund: pensioners who worked 20 years in the USSR are entitled to receive additional payments

Russian pensioners who worked for at least 20 years in the USSR are entitled to receive an additional payment to their pension . This was reported by representatives of the country's Social Fund, writes the portal «PensNews». The maximum amount of this increase is about 6,500 rubles.
However, not all pensioners can qualify for this additional payment. The main requirement is to have the necessary experience. The calculation is made as follows: for each year worked before 1992, 1% is added, and for each year in the period from 1992 to 2002 — another 10%.
It is also important to take into account the length of service at the beginning of the 2000s, until 2002 year, to correctly calculate the pension payment ratio. In this case, the pensioner can count on a coefficient of 0.55.
