
MOSCOW, January 11 The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation registered 17 proxies of the candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation from the Russian People's Union party Sergei Baburin, among them the son of the candidate.
«Register the authorized representatives of the candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation Sergei Nikolaevich Baburin in the amount of 17 people… Issue certificates of the established form to the registered authorized representatives,» the CEC resolution says.
CEC member Konstantin Mazurevsky reported on the registration of Baburin's proxies.
The list of trusted persons includes Konstantin Baburin, the son of Sergei Baburin.
In December, Baburin submitted documents to the Central Election Commission to be nominated as a candidate for the presidency of Russia.
The Russian presidential elections will be held on March 17, 2024. The CEC must decide on the registration of all candidates no later than February 10.
