MOSCOW, January 12 1,559 projects from 84 regions of the Russian Federation will receive support from the Presidential Grants Fund for a total amount of 4.365 billion rubles, another 2 billion rubles are allocated to support regional competitions , said First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko.
«The Coordination Committee decided that 1,559 projects from 84 regions of our country are receiving support for a total amount of 4 billion 365 million rubles. This is only federal funding through a federal competition. In addition, we decided to allocate 2 more billion rubles to support regional competitions,” Kiriyenko said during a meeting of the coordinating committee for holding competitions for the provision of grants from the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society.
In addition, he noted that another 3.6 billion rubles were allocated by the regions themselves.
