The Ministry of Internal Affairs has added bodybuilder blogger Alexander Shpak, who opposed the war in Ukraine, to the federal wanted list. Baza was the first to draw attention to this.
At the same time, Shpak’s card itself, according to Mediazona, appeared on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the end of December 2023.
Being included in the wanted database means that a criminal case has been initiated against the person , but the article of the Criminal Code and other details are traditionally not disclosed in the file.
Since August 2023, Shpak was fined six times under the article on “discrediting” the Russian army (20.3.3 of the Administrative Code) due to anti-war posts in a telegram.
At least one court decision that has entered into force under this administrative article allows, if a new similar reason is discovered, to initiate a criminal case against a person for “discredit” (Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code). At the same time, whether Shpak is really being prosecuted under this criminal article is not known for certain.

Shpak, who has 2.5 million followers on Instagram, while living in Russia was a guest on a talk show on federal channels, where he talked about his plastic surgery and tattoos all over his body. He left for Turkey in 2020. Now the blogger regularly criticizes Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on his page and posts footage of the consequences of military operations.
