For 2023, charging infrastructure operator Sitronics Electro (included in Sitronics Group) increased the number of regions of presence from 8 to 25. Now there are more than 130 electric filling stations in the operator’s network. The operator installs most of the charging stations as part of a project to implement the state concept for the development of production and use of electric vehicles of the Russian Government.
As part of the project, last year Sitronics Electro put into operation 21 stations with a capacity of 150 kW in 10 regions of the country. Sitronics Electro fast charging stations began operating in the Krasnodar Territory, North Ossetia, as well as in the Rostov, Voronezh, Leningrad, Tver, Tula, Nizhny Novgorod, Ivanovo and Vladimir regions. Electric vehicles can be charged at operator charging stations with GB/T DC, CCS 2, CHAdeMO and Type 2 connectors in 20 minutes.
The installation and connection of the EPS was carried out by Sitronics Electro specialists. Throughout the entire period, the operator will provide their maintenance and driver support 24/7. Anyone can charge their electric car using the Sitronics Electro app.
Over two years of active network development, we have learned to choose the optimal locations for charging stations. When choosing a location, we primarily focus on the client’s comfort, so we place electric filling stations in locations that are relevant for electric motorists: on highways, parking lots of shopping and business centers, hotels. As part of the project, we have already installed more than 50 stations in 10 regions of the country. This year we will continue building infrastructure and will further expand the geography of our presence. Andrey Gurleno Executive Director of Sitronics Electro
In addition, Sitronics Electro is also building ultra-fast charging stations for electric buses as part of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. In total, in 2023, as part of the federal program, the operator installed and launched more than 50 charging stations for electric buses in 9 cities of Russia.
