WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 Fire and emergency medical services on Monday arrived at the White House in the morning as a result of a false call about a fire engulfing the building, the Associated Press reports.
““A false call that the White House was on fire prompted emergency vehicles to be called to the complex on Monday morning,” the publication said.
According to the agency's interlocutor, the incident occurred around 7 am local time (15:00 Moscow time). In addition to the false fire report, unknown individuals also informed emergency services about a person trapped inside the Biden residence.
American leader Joe Biden and his family were outside the White House at that time after a weekend spent at their country residence at Camp David.
Shortly after firefighters and paramedics arrived at the White House, it was determined that the report of a fire was untrue.
