MOSCOW, January 15, Andrey Mikhailov. General Director of Krasnoyarsk » Enisey» Dmitry Fedoseev told reporters that Andrei Tikhonov will sign a contract with the club for 2.5 years with an option to extend.
The Krasnoyarsk club announced the appointment of a specialist to the post of head coach on January 10. Tikhonov previously headed Yenisei in the 2016/17 season, under his leadership the Siberians won bronze medals in the First League. This season, Enisey (24 points) ranks 10th in the First League standings.

Tikhonov noted that the team faces a lot of work, but it has good prospects. “I would like to wish us all good luck. I was very glad to accept the offer from Yenisei. We have losses, some of our players have left. We were in the White House, they promised us support. Yenisey has a good future. The team is four points from the relegation zone. We will have a very difficult schedule, there will be no end of work, but no one promised an easy life,” Tikhonov said.
