DONETSK, January 19 The remains of an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle were found in the center of Makeyevka, a residential building was damaged, the mayor of the city Vladislav Klyucharov reported on the Telegram channel.
«According to updated information, the remains of an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle were found at the scene of the incident in the Central City district. The residential building suffered structural elements destroyed,» the report says.
Previously, the mayor reported that at 2.50 in the Central City district of Makeyevka, near an apartment building, a crater was discovered.
It is reported that an instrumental examination of the residential building will be carried out by a contractor, after which a decision will be made on restoration work. According to him, Kommunalnik-15 workers are working to close the heat circuit in the affected apartments.
Makeevka is a satellite city of Donetsk, adjacent to it from the northeast. In 2014, the population of Makeyevka numbered about 350 thousand people. Chervonogvardeisky district is located in the western part of the city.
