In the Ivanovo region, a criminal case has been opened for negligence based on information published on the Internet about the failure to provide assistance to a 14-year-old girl who was bitten by dogs. This was reported by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the Ivanovo Region.
Earlier, the Readovka telegram channel published information about the emergency in the city of Teykovo. On January 18, on Oktyabrskaya Street, 14-year-old Adeline was attacked by two dogs near the district police station. They bit her feet and tore her clothes. According to eyewitnesses, a police officer saw the aggression from the dogs, but did not come to the aid of the minor. A little later, the animals were driven away by employees of a nearby fire department who climbed over the fence.
Firefighters tried to call an ambulance, but the dispatcher said that he would not be able to send a brigade and suggested that the child get to the medical facility on his own. One of the firefighters took the girl to the Central District Hospital in his car. But the surgeon there allegedly did not provide assistance to the teenager, citing the fact that he treats only adults.
By this moment, the girl’s sisters had arrived at the hospital. They were advised to call an ambulance again. But when calling 112, the dispatcher again announced that there were no available teams. The relatives of the girl, who by that time was already having difficulty moving, had to go around hospitals again in the hope of getting medical help.
