At home, the new generation all-terrain vehicle is expected to go on sale in the first half of the year, and it should enter our market at the end of summer. The model will be available with petrol and diesel engines.
Without camouflage, the frame SUV Haval H9 of the second generation appeared at the end of last year, and in Russia: then a presentation slide was posted on the Internet, which was shown to local dealers. The brand itself distributed official images of the Chinese version a week ago, and certification images appeared at the same time. Now branded “live” photographs of the “second” Haval H9 have been published in the Middle Kingdom. Let us remind you that the previous all-terrain vehicle has been in service since 2014, and in 2019 it was registered at the Tula Haweila plant. At home, the model has gone through several restylings, the last one was carried out there in 2021 (the Russian version was updated according to a separate program).

The appearance of the new SUV is designed in the style of brutal Haval crossovers: in particular, the frame SUV looks like an enlarged copy of the Haval Raptor (aka Menglong). The highlights of the H9 are round LED headlights placed in square frames, an impressive radiator grille with horizontal chrome plates and a large Haval inscription, bifurcated taillights in black vertical blocks. The hinged tailgate can have not only a spare tire, but also a storage box. In China, the model is equipped with 17-, 18- or 19-inch wheels.

According to documents from the Ministry of Industry of the People's Republic of China, the length of the new Haval H9 intended for the domestic market varies from 4950 to 5070 mm (depending on the presence of a tow bar, external spare wheel or box), width — 1960 or 1976 mm, height — 1930 mm. The wheelbase increased by 50 mm compared to its predecessor to 2850 mm. It is curious that in the slide for Russian dealers the “second” H9 has different dimensions: 4859/1934/1853 mm (the distance between the axles is not disclosed).
There are no official photos of the interior yet. However, it has also already been demonstrated in the Russian Federation, and inside the Haval H9 again imitates the Raptor: there are separate screens for the instrument panel and multimedia system, vertical air deflectors on the sides. In our market, the new Haval H9 will be exclusively seven-seater, while in China a five-seater version is still announced for the model.

The second generation SUV will be offered with a 2.0 petrol turbo engine and a new 2.4 turbodiesel. In both the Russian Federation and China, the power of the first engine is 224 hp, it is combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The diesel engine in the Chinese version produces 186 hp, in the Russian version – 184 hp, this engine is equipped with a 9-automatic transmission. In the Russian Federation, the model will have all-wheel drive with a reduction gear and two locks.

In the Middle Kingdom, a new Haval H9 should debut in the first half of the year, sales in Russia are scheduled for August. The estimated price in the Russian Federation is approximately 4.29 million rubles, while the previous all-terrain vehicle with a 218-horsepower 2.0 petrol turbo engine now costs from 4,099,000 rubles.
