Peskov announced measures to prevent attacks similar to the attack on the terminal in Ust-Luga
Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian Ministry of Defense and other authorized departments are taking all necessary measures to prevent new attacks like the drone crash on the NOVATEK terminal in Ust-Luga.
Peskov said that some measures concern air defense systems.
On the night of January 21, production facilities caught fire at the Novatek-Ust-Luga production complex, the company said in a statement. The fire, according to preliminary information, was a consequence of external influence.
On January 22, a high alert mode was declared in all areas of the Leningrad region at critical infrastructure facilities.
